Bayzi Table - Digital Furniture Fabrication

This individual project investigated the use of digital design and fabrication techniques to design and make a piece of furniture. A series of 3D and parametric tools were used in junction with various fabrication methods such as Laser cutting and CNC milling to translate the digital model into a physical one.

This project also involved investigation of materials such as Synthetic fabric and Fibreglass. Through these explorations, it was possible to design, test and fabricate complex geometries such as minimal surfaces which were structurally efficient and could withstand great amount of load.
