O2 Helmet

Flat-head syndrome (plagiocephaly) is a common issue for infants and toddlers. It is usually treated with helmet therapy where an othortist creates a custom helmet manually.

In collaboration with One Design Office (ODO) a 3D printed helmet was developed which could be tailored for each child. The design utilizes a hexagonal grid pattern to create breathability and comfort as well as pleasant aesthetics for the child and the rest of the family.
